I guess the all is important because I'd previously only updated Logitech Options. I contacted Support and they replied to upgrade all Logitech software. Had same problem M510 mouse no response except for scroll bar. My M510 mouse started working again even before my Mac left Recovery Mode and is currently working. Choose your normal startup disk, wait a bit, and your computer will restart. This brings up a dialogue box asking if you want to choose a startup disk to reboot from. From Recovery Mode, you close out of the utilities menu. The articles directs you to boot into Recovery Mode by restarting while holding Command-R. As indicated in the article, my drivers weren't updating correctly. My keyboard is compatible with LCC, but the mouse is older and needs Options installed.Īfter installing these updates and still getting no results, I found this support article with instructions to use Terminal to check the driver versions. I downloaded and ran/installed the Firmware Update Tool, Logitech Control Center, and Logitech Options. I'll try to remember to post an update when Logitech puts out new drivers (if someone doesn't beat me to it.) My K750 Solar Keyboard started working after the software updates, so at least there's that. I've also updated all Logitech software and the USB transceiver's firmware. I verified both Control Center and Unifying Software under Preferences - Security & Privacy - Privacy - Input Monitoring. Logitech Options seems to be able to detect the mouse, but the mouse doesn't work. If your eager to try it yourself, you'll find the mentioned kexts in following Link -> įigure I'd add to the pile: Logitech M510 wireless mouse no longer responding. Use the "Tools" button to find the option to "Rebuild Kextcache and repair Permissions in /S/L/E + /L/E."Īfter the necessary reboot both Logitech devices where usable as intended and I was able to install the latest version of " Logitech Options" to setup Flow again. To repair Kext permission and cache I used the following Tool ( ) instead of fumbling around with more terminal commands. Mount -uw / (to remount the Root-Directory in Read/Write mode)Ĭp -R *.kext /Library/Extensions/ (From the directory in which you extracted the kext files) Sudo su (to open a terminal in SUDO-mode) Since Catalina doesn't allow that via Finder, I used the Terminal with the following commands: These kexts were missing on the Asus Prime Z390-A, so I copied them over and put them into the directory /Library/Extensions. I use the new MX Keys and the MX Master and found the following:On the GA H170n-Wifi where two old kexts installed in /Library/Extensions, both were marked as "Loaded" in "System Information" -> Software -> Extensions. Had the same issue with my Hackintosh, based on a Asus Prime Z390-A, while my second Hackintosh, based on a GA H170n-Wifi, worked like charm.
